With excellent high-quality glossy glaze and red-figure decoration of a swan on one side, with a decorative egg-and-dart band beneath it. The swan decoration is connected to the worship of Aphrodite.
It was found in a home in Ambracia and dates back to the Classical Period.
It is exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Arta (INo 6217) in Hall C/ Homes of Ambracia.
